 I. OBJECTIVES:
- defend democracy and the rule of law in Cambodia
- develop accountability and Justice for the Cambodian society
- develop the moral and ethical basis for all Cambodians.
II. STRATEGIES:
A. to impact decision-making process regarding policies affecting the destiny of the Cambodian people by:
- continuing to work closely with the US Congress and Administration to develop policies in order to meet the stated objectives
- continuing to work with other organizations such as the NGOs, the civic organizations, academics, the press to enhance WCC's causes and objectives, and
- educating and getting the Cambodian community in the US and in the rest of the world involved in WCC's work program;
B. To turn WCC into a more responsive, professionally efficient and financially independent organization by:
- reinforcing internal organization to support expansion
- raising funds to finance WCC increasing activities; and
- developing communication plan, information system and network to reach out all WCC members and those organizations interested or involved in Cambodian Affairs through publications and Internet system, home page, etc.
