As a person who is very concern and very much in tune and involved with the political matters of Cambodia and the country's state, I would like to say thank you to Ph.D. Tith who wrote this very informing and accurate article about Cambodia's instability. it is people like you who give the hopeless people of Cambodia hope that they will someday rise above all the cruelty that they are put through by neighboring countries (Vietnam & China) and their very own government.

Cambodia is very much in trouble because of the corrupt government and incompetent control of Prime Minister Hun Sen. Hun Sen is being puppeted by neighboring countries like Vietnam who is in the background trying to take over Cambodia. But the Prime minister and his idiotic government do not care about the people, but only of himself! He needs to step down and turn over control to someone who truly wants to help the Cambodian people!

To the person who insulted and accused Ph.D. Tith of being "one-sided": what is wrong with you? If you really think Hun Sen or the current useless government is helping Cambodia you must really be deluded! Yes, the atrocities of the past are horrible, but so are the atrocities of today! Does the human rights violation and brutal treatment of the Cambodian people not matter? The Cambodian people are brutally poor and dying. How many more of them have to die before you realize Hun Sen and his political party, the CPP (Cambodia's People Party), are really uncaring monsters using human faces to torture the innocent?

Open your eyes and see the truth and open your hearts and ears to hear the oppressed and abused people of Cambodia crying out for help! WORTHLESS, prime minister Hun Sen and his CPP claims to value and promote Human Rights and democracy in Cambodia, when really he is a symbol that goes against everything he "claims" is important.

Although, Hun Sen claims to promote human rights and fairness- I didn't realize that it meant physical brutality towards Cambodian people by his orders. In a video tape smuggled to America I saw firsthand his abusive power glaring at me from the television where it was showing Buddhist monks being severely beaten with batons, hoses, and fists by Vietnamese construction workers who were posing as Cambodian soldiers!

That is such and inhumane and despicable action to take and accept. That kind of brutality is what Hun Sen really sees as justice and what he truly stands for. Hun Sen's government has not brought about any good changes for Cambodia or its people, it has only brought about more pain and suffering due to the help from his morally challenged advisors such as the Vietnamese. For one this is why we are led to believe that Khmers are killing Khmers. The Vietnamese has been longing to take over Cambodia....... so their way of getting rid of the Cambodian people is to use Hun Sen and have them oppress the Khmer people.

Thank you for your kind comments on my article on President Bush Foreign Policy in Asia and its relevance to Cambodia.

It gave me a great deal of encouragement and satisfaction to see that there are peoples like you who care. If you would like to learn more about my activities to defend the Cambodian people, please go to WCC web site (www.wccpd.org) to learn more about the group of decent Cambodian Americans that I have the honor of working with to best defend the dignity and honor for all Cambodians.

During the past ten years, World Cambodian Congress for Peace and development (WCCPD) has been very involved in advocating with the US Congress to try to unmask Hun Sen genocidal and criminal policy and politics. Unfortunately, most of our fellow Cambodian-Americans are not well informed of the US system. and therefore are not very productive in defending Cambodia' s interests. That is to say that in the USA, Cambodian Americans must be a full participant in US the political and economic system in order to have any hope of helping the Cambodian people. There are already more and more peoples in Cambodia who are carrying out this difficult task and risky task of trying to save the Cambodian people from slow but certain death. That is why WCC is trying to precisely support those brave and dignified Cambodians who are doing this impossible task inside Cambodia, while WCC is doing it from outside. Once again, thank you for your understanding and interests in Cambodian destiny.
